With daylight returning came some exciting progress this month, particularly with Paul pitching in for his first visit of the year (and hopefully the first of many to come!)  First up, the dismantling of the potting shed:

And then the laying of the new foundations:

Other activity outside included the planting of a new hedge along the failing fence of the front paddock, moving the raspberry canes and (almost) finishing the digging over of the top corner in the walled garden.

Inside, a lot more work went into excavating the floors and installing the new beams.  Less grand and less photogenic but possibly more important!
